Ok, this allows for serious creative maze development for the creative kid, and who doesn't love mazes. It gives the child a modular and guided, step-wise progression into developing more and more advanced mazes, allowing the child to imagine and freely think through and problem solving measures involved. There's an infinite amount of combinations and creative outlets for the building oriented child.
The fine motor skills with the handiwork in putting together the mazes speaks for the general development functions for the hands. However, the brain development in thinking through problems, back solving and creating new solutions to any questions allows the young engineer to develop a different skills from legos and traditional building blocks and building sets.
